Taven is a guy who takes his health seriously and over the years he’s developed some heart trouble. Dealing with both high blood pressure and an erratic heart rhythm Taven’s Doctor directs him to wear a holter monitor for a 24 hour period. While wearing the monitor, the gets a call with information about an assignment and decides to take the job. Taven is a hit man, and is forced to be honest while keeping a log of his career’s activities for the Doctor as part of the procedure. The Doctor gets more than he bargained for with Taven as a patient.
